March has brought us back to the coast! Today, the Amber Job team had a fantastic time visiting the Klaipėda State University of Applied Sciences (KVK). As the largest higher education institution in Western Lithuania, KVK is a powerhouse of practical talent, and we were thrilled to meet students who are ready to take their "practice-oriented" education to an international level.
We spent our day engaging with students across KVK's diverse faculties. It was inspiring to see how well the college's curriculum aligns with the high standards of our partner resorts in Greece and Cyprus. We had particularly great conversations with students from:
Tourism Business: Eager to manage guest experiences in luxury Mediterranean settings.
Management of Organizations: Looking for leadership roles and administrative practice in 5⭐ environments.
Food Technologies & Gastronomy: Ready to bring Lithuanian dedication to world-class professional kitchens.
Wellness & Health Sciences: Students interested in the growing sector of luxury SPA and wellness treatments.
At KVK, "studies are practice-orientated," and that is exactly the mindset needed for a successful Erasmus+ internship. We introduced our 2026 Season openings, emphasizing that an internship with Amber Job isn't just a summer job—it’s a professional springboard.
We discussed the "Full Package" for KVK Trainees:
Hands-on Learning: Moving from the classroom to real-world operations in international hotels.
Financial Support: Combining Erasmus+ grants with hotel scholarships ranging from €400 to €850 per month, plus free accommodation and meals.
