This season at the Caretta Paradise Hotel on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, our latest featured trainee discovered exactly what it takes to inspire, entertain, and lead the next generation of global travelers.
Working primarily within the international Kids Club (ages 4 and up), our intern’s daily schedule was a vibrant mix of high-energy entertainment and structured care.
Key Responsibilities Included:
Activity Design: Planning and facilitating daily recreational programs and specialized themed days designed to enrich the children's holiday experience.
The Mini Disco Spotlight: Leading the nightly Mini Disco—a high-energy kids' dance party—before supporting the wider animation team during the resort's main evening shows.
Safety & Multitasking: Overseeing interactive games and managing supplies while ensuring a secure, nurturing, and joyful environment for all participants.
Managing a lively group of children from different countries and backgrounds is a masterclass in soft skills. This fast-paced environment put our intern’s organizational abilities to the test, resulting in massive personal milestones:
Adaptive Communication: Learning to connect effectively with different age groups by shifting communication styles to meet diverse emotional and developmental needs.
Creative Problem-Solving: Developing deep levels of patience and adaptability when handling the unpredictable challenges of a high-energy resort setting.
Teamwork & Logistics: Collaborating with international team members to synchronize schedules and execute complex events seamlessly.
